Jan/Feb Online Issue pdf

I sincerely appreciate your patience and concern. Rest assured, the typography problem is rectified in the March/April issue. I encourage you to go back and read the exceptional and now legible content in this issue, and I invite you to respond here, on the photo technique Forum if you desire.

I’d like to thank everyone for her and his comments. I can assure you that all upcoming issues of photo technique, including March/April 2010, use highly legible serif fonts. We will no longer have issues regarding readability and are eager to put the typography mishaps behind us.

Please keep the faith and stay tuned! We have remarkable portfolios and technical articles in the upcoming March/April issue, and font will not impede content.

If there are any other specific questions or concerns please do not hesitate to email me directly: web@phototechmag.com

Please consider the reader who has difficulty reading your new type style. I do not like type styles which make me slow down my reading speed. Perhaps you need to contact someone who can advise you on easily read type styles.

  • Yolanda Tooley says:

I love the new vision for “Photo Technique”. The magazine is gorgeous; the reproductions of photos are clear, vibrant and detailed and the paper has weight and substance which helps to enhance the images. You succeeded in reinventing yourself and produced a fine arts journal. Glad that you corrected the text. I was not as pleased with all of the articles, but again am blown away by David Vestal’s philosophical photographic insights–may he live and write forever.

  • James Jasek says:

The new magazine is great, but the type face you are using looks like it does not print well on the slick paper. The word spacing in uneven, and it is hard to read.

  • Colin Blakley says:

Brilliant!!! You guys have really put together a beautiful magazine. I am so proud.
